God of light,  

look upon Mexico in this hour of fear and uncertainty.  

Where shadows gather, let Your presence rise stronger still.  

Where people feel trapped by forces beyond their control,  

surround them with protection that no darkness can break.

Guard the families who are afraid to sleep,  

the workers who must still travel,  

the tourists caught in confusion,  

and the communities holding each other together  

with courage they should never have had to muster.

Let Your light expose every hidden intention  

that brings harm to the innocent.  

Let Your wisdom guide those who protect,  

Your peace steady those who panic,  

and Your strength uphold those who feel powerless.

We ask not for destruction,  

but for the dissolving of every dark influence—  

every force that thrives on fear,  

every shadow that preys on the vulnerable.  

May they lose their grip,  

their power undone by truth, justice, and clarity.

Lift up the people of Mexico.  

Wrap them in safety.  

Let peace return to their streets,  

and let hope return to their hearts.

May travelers find safe passage.  

May families be reunited.  

May communities stand unbroken.  

And may Your light—steady, unwavering—
